SNS Academy offers CBSE

There are two (2) semesters/terms in one academic year.

The academic year for all grades commences in the month of April.

Students are required to carry books as required, according to the day's timetable. The school provides a locker facility for students, wherein they can store their books and other belongings.

Homework is an integral part of teaching and serves to further reinforce what has been taught in class. Homework will be minimal and not stressful.

Yes, enrichment classes are a part of the daily school timetable.

All mainstream classes are conducted using English as the medium of instruction. Hindi, Tamil and French are offered as options for second language and third language.

SNS Academy conducts a wide range of co-curricular activities like Music, Bharathanatiyam, Dance, Visual Arts, Drama and Hobby Club.

There is no additional charge for participation in extra or co-curricular activities (exception being Tennis). It is all inclusive in the fees except Tennis coaching.

A three language programme is a feature of SNS Academy school. The school offers a choice of three languages to choose as a third language: Hindi, Tamil and French.

SNS Academy's unique teaching methodology facilitates holistic development and all-round character building of a child. SNS Academy organizes a host of sports and extra-curricular events. Inter-house and inter-school level competitions are held throughout the academic year, to foster the spirit of healthy competition and sportsmanship amongst students.

Yes, excursions and educational trips are a part of the active learning process at SNS Academy. These will be organized on a regular basis as indicated on the school calendar.

School timings are as follows:

Kindergarten to Grade XII – 8.45 am to 4.20 pm.

The school has an efficient transport system in place equipped with air conditioner for students who need to avail the facility.

Majority of the children have opted for the school bus which is a popular and convenient means of transport. The parents residing closer to school, some parents drop off their children on their way to and from work.

The school has a well equipped hygiene kitchen to prepare food for the students. Students those who opted for school food are provided with Morning Breakfast, Morning Milk/Juice, Lunch, Evening Snacks with Milk.

SNS Academy has a strong infrastructure in place to facilitate and support sports activities. The campus is equipped with world-class facilities for Tennis, Table tennis, Badminton, Swimming pool, Basket ball, Throw ball, Volley ball, Skating, Cricket and Football.

Yes, the school has a child counselor who is professionally trained to understand empathies and discuss any problem or situation with children. All discussions with the counselors are strictly confidential.

The preferred way of paying tuition fee is using RTGS, Cash or Demand draft.

Teachers undergo training courses and workshops on a regular basis, in order to enhance their professional skills. Workshop for teachers is given a high degree of importance at SNS Academy, as teachers undergo a minimum 80 hours of training programme in one year.

The teaching faculty at SNS Academy is highly qualified and professional. Each teacher has secured a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) as a minimum qualification. Our teachers also hold Post Graduate and Doctoral degrees.

PTMs are conducted twice in a year.

SNS Academy considers parents as partners in the education process and parents are free to meet teachers, with prior appointment, as and when necessary after school hours. Prior appointment should be sought from school office. Parents are always free to give suggestions through the school diary, which will be responded within 48 hours.
